Artists for Media Diversity

Sparrows Wheel recently launched a new website for Artists for Media Diversity.

Inactive since 2013, Artists for Media Diversity, A4MD, a 501c3 tax exempt nonprofit organization, has been reactivated to take on the challenge of creating a viable alternative in the wake of the proposed elimination of federal funding for public broadcasting.

A4MD has adopted the project designed by Sparrows Wheel called "The Nature of Truth".

The project will host a series of monthly "Community Digital Albums" and weekly radio shows produced by Sparrows Wheel for Artists for Media Diversity and distributed to noncommercial radio stations for broadcast.

A4MD's "The Nature of Truth" project is fiscally sponsored by San Fransisco based Media Alliance.

For the Camp of the Sacred Stones

For the Camp of the Sacred Stones

Dear LaDonna Bravebull Allard and Camp of the Sacred Stones

Inspired by your indomitable bravery, unyielding resiliency and steadfast determination to stop the Dakota Access Pipeline;

In honor of the Standing Rock Sioux Tribe, all Tribal Nations, Community Organizations and Peoples of the Earth who stand in solidarity with the nonviolent and sacred movement for indigenous rights and environmental justice initiated at the Camp of the Sacred Stones in April of 2016;

We, songwriters and recording artists, desire to contribute our music in support of your initiative to protect the water and the ancestral lands for the people now living and for the generations to come.

May our contributions of music downloads assist in sustaining a global continuity of awareness of your bravery, resiliency and nonviolent determination to stop the Dakota Access Pipeline, as well as raise funds for The Camp of the Sacred Stones to utilize in achieving the benefit of all living beings.
